AGAATI keeps people and planet in mind while designing and producing our uniquely contemporary dresses and statement pieces. The sustainable and ethically made collections are the meeting point of couture and ready to wear. We aim to include one or more of our sustainable and ethical principles in each of the long-lasting items they make: artisan made, fair trade, recycled, humanly made, organic, eco-friendly and zero waste philosophy. AGAATI also donates 5% of their profits to non-governmental organizations that deal with the impact of fast fashion.
Ma Wei Yan
Wei Yan Maya Ma was born in China. She studied oil painting in Repin Academy of Fine Art University in Saint Petersburg, Russia from 2004 to 2006. She first worked in a textile company as a executive assistant from 2006 to 2007 where she discovered her interest in Fashion. She decided to study Fashion in the US. Right after she graduated from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, she became the founder of MWY Apparel Design Co in 2013 ( www.mwydesign.com). Since then she has been designing custom-made garments for people all over the world who enjoy being unique and glamorous . Now she also manages the fashion department of the textile( cashmere) company in China - Dehong International Textile Co. ( ), and holds the position of Chief Fashion Designer in the company. "

Philine Rauh was raised by two artist immigrant parents in Marin County. After apprenticing at Indru’s Tailoring in San Rafael, California, Philine moved to New York City and graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Fashion Design. She worked in the garment industry for several importers where she learned the business, traveled all over Asia and Europe designing collections and conducting market research.
After several years she returned to the San Francisco Bay Area where she became Design Director for San Francisco City Lights. Realizing she enjoyed domestic production, Philine decided to make garments in the US that highlight a cause she is very passionate about. This label is the statement which is sewn into every coat
Designer Alexandria von Bromssen, MFA and 1st Runner Up on Lifetime’s Award Winning Show Project Runway Season 12, pulls inspiration from up cycling old garments, fabric scraps, vintage clothing, international travel adventures and pop culture.
The Camp Couture has been teaching design to children and adults in the Bay Area for over 10 years. The studio environment is fashion savvy and the projects taught are creative, innovative and designed for fun. Students who attend Camp Couture will learn a skill that they can enjoy throughout their life.
Tendance, meaning “Trend” in French, was created to bridge the “Fashion Gap” between cultures. Each country has beautifully designed fabrics that define and tell a story about its people; that is why Tendance sources or redesigns these beautiful fabrics and combines them with new and current trends of apparels used on the day to day by the new generations all over the world. The results are beautiful and meaningful bags, shoes, clothes in your hands, as well as some much needed help to local communities all over the world, with Tendance’s pledge to donate, from each item sold, a portion of the proceeds back into the country where the fabric was inspired from.
